(LSD, TRIPS, DOTS, TABS, BLOTTERS)
COST.....They usually cost around £5 a single trip but I have seen them for as little as £1 each
HOW IT'S TAKEN.....Usually sucked or chewed in the mouth and then swallowed but I have known people to stick them in their eyes and other private parts (insane if you ask me). LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) is a transparent crystal in it's pure form but you never get it like this, when you buy it, it is mostly soaked onto small squares of blotting paper, or made into micro dots (don't know how they make them) the average is around 50 micrograms but you could get more or less as it is mostly guess work. The crystal is usually mixed with vodka so it soaks into the blotting paper alright.
EFFECTS.....The main reason people take acid is to trip out, leave this dimension (which rarely happens unless you take excessive amounts), some take it to have a laugh, which only lasts about an hour and really hurts your stomach, then your left with another seven or more hours of trippin and no laughing.
The effects usually take around half an hour to start kicking in and last an easy 8 hours, sometimes still being felt 24 hours after taking it (once you have taken it there is no stopping it). You don't usually start to hallucinate until around two hours into the trip, firstly starting with colors mixing together then your wall paper, curtains and carpet all coming alive, it very rarely goes beyond this stage unless you have done loads, but sometimes you can see things that aren't there, as for the 'I think I can fly' well I've never seen anything like this in myself or anyone else who has taken it and I've been around people who have taken at least 8 trips at once.
The downside affect is the terrible feeling you get after about five hours, you just want it to go away and you can't sleep so you have got to put up with it, also the come down is the worst out of all the drugs I have tried, it can easily last days with you feeling scummy, moody and basically sh*t.
DANGERS.....The most obvious danger is to your mental health, when you do it and in the future, I have know people who have taken a trip and never come down ending up in an institution. There are virtually no physical side effects and not much chance of dying unless you 'try to fly' or something, and it isn't known to be addictive (I wonder why).
The other danger it has is having flashbacks from a bad trip, what this means is in the future, sometimes many years after having a bad trip you can flashback to the time of the bad trip and feel like your going through it all again.
You should always take acid around people you know and trust as it is very easy to get very paranoid, thus turning your trip into a bad trip which isn't very nice at all.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCES.....I have had loads of experience with acid and never again, it's o.k when you first take it but after a few hours you just want it to go away and it won't, not for another six or so hours, it's the drug you do when your young because it's cheap.
The only problem with acid is you easily and quickly forget how crap it is and want to do another only to remember and be stuck on it for 8 odd hours.
I haven't had any really bad experiences but I know a couple of people who left reality and never came back as well as friends who disappear for a day or so only to be found in a bush somewhere.
If you really want to trip then try magic mushrooms instead of acid as it's a lot better, cleaner, natural and goes in around three hours leaving you practically no come down.
